What is the result of forcing the image to synch with the sound, and how will it affect the validity of the sound to image? This is the question behind the work. The project intends to disprove the statement made by Simon Emmerson that; ‘the best sound to accompany visual action is often in practice supportive, secondary…’. (Emmerson. 1999: 135).
The film aims to discuss the intricacies of the audiovisual organisation. A electroacoustic composition gives a sequence of vacant images the dynamic qualities of temporality. Asking, what sychronicities can be perceived?
